It is with huge sadness that we say goodbye to a great member of our Schools and Youth Team; Adele. She has been with us since the schools team's inception and we are truly going to miss her.

A word from our CEO Paul Young:

“A significant change will take place over the next few weeks as the founder and manager of our Schools and Youth Team retires. I would like to personally thank Adele, for 19 years of service, not only to us but to the young people of this City. Last year alone Adele’s Schools Team made over 13,000 student contacts. Over 19 years it’s impossible to calculate how many young people will have been impacted through the Schools ministry Adele has built up. Only eternity will show the full impact of this significant work.

As I look back over the period as CEO of Off The Fence I have so many happy memories of working with Adele. We have had buses, tiny offices and numerous staff and volunteers over the years and throughout it all Adele has worked hard and grown an amazing work. In the early years schools were closed to Christian teaching, but today we have so many schools wanting our services we cannot meet the need.

As Adele retires I have a strong sense of God saying a massive well done! And from all of us at Off The fence we also say well done and thank you… what a journey!”

Adele comments: "It's been an amazing 19 years having the opportunity to start from the very beginning and see where God would lead this work in ways I could never have dreamed or imagined. A massive thanks to all who have prayed, supported, volunteered and worked alongside me."

Thank you so much, Adele. We will miss you!
