The Big Sleepout!
The city’s street services work with 30 new cases of rough sleeping each week. People sleeping rough die younger, are more likely to get ill and are more vulnerable to violence than those in the wider population.
The Big Sleepout is an annual fundraising challenge organised by Off The Fence, for you to catch a glimpse of what life might be like for rough sleepers and raise money to help us get them off the streets.
When? 7pm Saturday 10th November to 8 pm Sunday 11th am
Where? Aldrington Primary School, Eridge Road, Hove, BN3 7QD
Who? You could do this as a business, or as a group. What about your football team or knitting circle? You could bring your yoga class or your Bible study group. Due to safeguarding protocol we can now only have participants over the age of 18. If you’re under 18, though, don’t despair. Why not organise your own Big Sleep Out with your school or club and get family and friends to sponsor you! Download our fundraising pack for more information on how to run a fundraising event.
