Antifreeze
Helping the homeless inside and out
Project Antifreeze provides food, hot drinks, sleeping bags and hygiene items to the homeless through our evening outreach teams and our day centre on Portland Road.
We also offer the support our service users need to find accommodation and keep it. We aim to help our clients thrive, not just survive.
At project Antifreeze, we treat every service user as a valuable individual and never a statistic.
We offer…
‘On the streets’ care
We regularly go out onto the streets of Brighton & Hove to deliver essential supplies such as hot food and drink, sleeping bags and clothes.
Antifreeze Day centre
Our dedicated Antifreeze Day Centre is a place where clients can feel safe, warm and can receive support. They also have access to essential supplies and health care.
Showers and Laundry
By appointment only, we can offer laundry services and shower facilities in our Antifreeze Centre at 37 Portland Road.
Emotional support
We offer emotional support for clients and link with a dedicated key worker to help address any needs.
Personal administration
Our key workers help support clients with any practical needs (such as housing, financial, welfare) and refer to specialist agencies if required.
Our latest edition of our handy A3 folded to A6 Streetsheet showing all the essential services and supply points for rough sleepers in Brighton & Hove is available here.
