Gateway Women’s Centre provides a welcoming, safe space for women going through a time of crisis, emotional or practical difficulty.
We offer…
One-to-one support
We offer one-to-one emotional, practical and spiritual support – in person, by phone, text, email or online via Zoom.
Essentials Food Bank
We have a small food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and clothing bank.
Practical support and advice
We provide a wide range of support for women, such as accompanying women to appointments, support with paperwork, IT support, help accessing other services, referrals and signposting to other services.
Workshops and courses
Our wide range of workshops provides opportunities for women to try new skills, build confidence, reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
Faith-based support
For women desiring faith-based support and prayer, we offer Christian activities to provide hope and encouragement amid difficulty. Activities include group Bible study, The Alpha Course and Church connection.
