Antifreeze
Supporting individuals out of homelessness.
Since 1998, Antifreeze has been a safe and warm space for individuals experiencing homelessness, offering practical support and providing tangible steps towards stability and hope.
‘On the streets’ care
We regularly go out onto the streets of Brighton & Hove to deliver essential supplies such as hot food and drink, sleeping bags and clothes.
Meeting immediate need
Through drop-in sessions, clients can receive meals, hot drinks, clothing and sleeping bags to sustain them physically and mentally.
Hygiene facilities
We offer laundry services and shower facilities through our drop-in sessions for each attendee, to protect human dignity and support a weekly routine.
1-to-1 support
Our key workers can help support clients with any practical needs (such as housing, financial, welfare) and refer to specialist agencies if required.
Faith-based reflections
Antifreeze is open to individuals of all faiths and none, without precondition or discrimination. Spiritual support is offered weekly, sensitively, and only when invited and appropriate to a client’s expressed needs.
Our latest edition of our Streetsheet, showing all the essential services for rough sleepers in Brighton & Hove, is available here.
